The SYWBPP Lottery group just completed a mini-contest for the theme "SIGN LANGUAGE". The winner received a membership to SYWBPP and an invitation to the SYWBPP Garage Sale. The runners-up all received invitations to the Garage Sale as well.

ATTENTION - this means YOU! The SYWBPP Lottery Group is having a couple of new "mini-contests" this week that are entirely separate from the monthly membership-lottery contests.
The first of these is called "SIGN LANGUAGE" and the deadline to enter is 10 p.m. EDT on Thursday, August 2nd. This is a scavenger hunt type contest so no models / humans are required in the photos (but they are allowed). We need a photo of anything with the word "LOTTERY", "SALE", or "GARAGE SALE" in it -- with extra points for creativity. Photos don't just have to be of signs only but at least one of those words / phrases must be included on the signs. (Handmade signs are acceptable in the photographs - no fake Photoshopped signs, however. You must use a REAL sign!)
The prizes include invitations to the "SYWBPP Garage Sale" for all "honorable mentions", and an an invite to the SYWBPP group and to the SYWBPP Garage Sale for the winner. Visit the Lottery Group for more details.

SYWBPP recently held another photo contest. Up for grabs were four sets of Nichole Van's essential color pop + black & white actions. The requirements were:
1) outdoor settings with props or window images
2) think color pop!
3) needs to have a child/family as part of the image
4) can be from an older image, doesn't have to be today
5) post a small version of it to the stream and to the pool
6) submissions close on Wed. March 7th at 12:01am CST
